Jasmine McGill

Jasmine McGill is the founder and CEO of KJ's Angels. Jasmine had a vision and prepared to make dreams of helping at-risk youth a reality when creating this NPO. Jasmine has a degree in Biology and is a full-time nursing student and mother. She has special certifications in Autism Spectrum and Child Abuse: Identifying & Reporting. Jasmine is a licensed Breakthrough Parenting Instructor and is eager to spread parenting awareness to struggling families. Breakthrough Parenting is teaches what parents need to know about raising kids to be successful, while they grow up and afterwards when they have to go out on their own as responsible adults in society. Jasmine is focused on eliminating and reducing child abuse and raising awareness that this is a topic that needs attention. She is determined to bridge the gap between financial burden and child abuse by creating programs that alleviate these burdens and in return reduce the risk of abuse happening in the home. Jasmine believes that with hard work and determination, KJ's Angels can reduce child abuse statistics in Bexar County. She strives to offer a better life for children and their respective families- foster, adoptive or biological.

Tammy Cantu Perez

Tammy Cantu Perez, M.A, is Licensed Professional Counselor and President of TCP Marriage & Family Services, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides fundamental resources to individuals and families to help them attain a better quality of life. She also holds a position as Treasurer of S&S Therapy Services. Tammy earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Services and master’s degree in Counseling at Wayland Baptist University. Tammy specializes in Marriage & Family Counseling, working with clients two years of age and up. She has experience working with children, teens and adults diagnosed with a mental illness. Tammy also works with clients who have experienced trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, divorce, suicidal ideation and eating disorders. Tammy follows her method, The Complete Person (TCP) in therapy which incorporates the Mental, Emotional, Physical and Social Health of her clients. She is committed to promoting mental health as a critical part of overall wellness. Tammy believes mental health counseling is a partnership between a mental health professional and a client. It is a process in which clients gain insight into specific behaviors and emotions as well as learn new skills to help promote change. By gaining insight, self-acceptance, and empowerment, behavioral changes can take place leading to long-term success and a better quality of life
